Taxidermista Restaurant combines tradition and modernity in a warm cosmopolitan atmosphere. An obligatory stop in Barcelona.
It was also the Museum of Natural Sciences in Barcelona, the inscription can still be seen on this building of 1850 and it keeps in its basement remains of the former convent that existed before the construction of the Plaza Real.
In 1999 opened its doors as Café Restaurant Taxidermista when it was reformed by the prestigious architect Beth Galí, current president of the FAD, retaining the original elements of the building which was visited by artists and intellectuals.

Angie (Group) , We took 22 friends there to celebrate our birthdays. It was a fantastic success. We visited the restaurant the evening before to discuss seating, etc. and the manager was so helpful. The staff on the night were brilliant, lovely atmosphere.
